Inaugural Event Success!

Last night we held our first ever meeting at Blake Morgan in Eastleigh.

We had an excellent turnout despite the rain, and two excellent sessions.

Peter Gill from Thomson Reuters talked through some of the organisation’s CRM challenges, and was then joined by his colleague Colin who provided a demo of their innovative CRM solution that mines a wide range of data sources including mailboxes to build up comprehensive intelligence on people and businesses.

After a networking break and copious amounts of pizza kindly supplied by Computer Futures, it was the turn of Roland Dexter from QGate and his colleague Elizabeth who provided an excellent demo of Qlik Sense. Elizabeth’s demo included importing and modelling data, then building a great looking interactive dashboard from scratch in the session.

Gareth and I are committed to another event very soon, so watch this space for an announcement!
